A Partnership Takes the Stage

Today, we're proud to announce an exciting new partnership between Arlington Children's Theatre and Lesley Ellis School.
This partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter for both of our organizations; one rooted in a shared commitment to inspiring young people through creativity, education, and the transformative power of the arts.
Beginning this season, ACT's rehearsals and several of our performances will take place at Lesley Ellis School. But this partnership is about so much more than sharing a space.
Together, Arlington Children's Theatre and Lesley Ellis School are creating new opportunities for students and families through expanded arts programming, educational initiatives, community engagement, and collaborative experiences that extend well beyond the stage. From after-school enrichment and theatre education to special events, workshops, and future creative partnerships, we're excited to imagine and build what's possible together.
One of the most exciting aspects of this collaboration has already begun behind the scenes. As Lesley Ellis develops its brand-new, state-of-the-art theatre space, ACT has had the privilege of consulting throughout the design process, helping shape a performance space that reflects the unique needs of children's theatre and youth performers. We're honored to help create a theatre that will serve young artists and our community for years to come.
At Lesley Ellis, the arts are an essential part of helping students discover their voices, develop confidence, and explore the world through creativity. At ACT, we believe theatre is a powerful vehicle for youth development, fostering artistic excellence while helping young people build empathy, resilience, leadership, and lifelong confidence. Those shared values make this partnership a natural fit.
As ACT celebrates its 35th Anniversary Season, we couldn't be more excited to begin this next chapter alongside a partner that shares our belief in the power of arts education to transform lives.
